I disagree with Barack Obama...on several important issues. I also think it was very wrong for Kanye West to swipe the microphone away from Taylor Swift on the VMA.Does that make me a racist? Oh and by the way I do disagree with Whoopi Goldberg's "view" of Glenn Beck. Now, does that make me a racist? No , course not!! so why are so many especially in the "news" just love to play the race card??It is truly a very sad state of affairs when so many seem to cannot debate the issues with facts and resort to playing the race card. The evening "news' has turned into the Jimmy Carter show and when Joe Wilson correctly yells out "you lie"... he gets slammed. How come when George Bush was hammered day by day in  congress and in the press there no talk of calling anyone  "out of line"??Hmmmmmm When the congressional budget office came out with the numbers of how much Obammacare would cost--those were FACTS!!!when People state wording at townhall meetings that come directly from this bill--those are FACTS!! When I say that this bill will add over 200 million to an already VERY bad national dept--I am stating a proven FACT!! I want to recommend everyone to read Chuck Norris's article on Obammacare--he uncovers several more "dirty little secrets". It is time to grow up--and the time is now. This nation is facing a future and wise decicions must be made--on facts...not race.Now, if you excuse me Iam going to listen to my Mills Brothers collection.

People are quoting numbers from the congressional budget office,doctors are speaking out agenst it-big time as well as many at the townhall meetings, and then there's the fact that this plan will add over 230 BILLION dollars to the already ballooning national deficit. These are not "scare tactics" like Barack Obama has said. These are very real Americans at the townhall meetings who are voicing very real concerns about very real FACTS. If there are any "blue dog" democrats reading this--please continue...the following may startle you. We are more in agreement than many of you may realize. Because you "blue dogs" know as well as we do that we all agree we need real health care reform. The thing is how do we go about to get it done???Do we go about it in a nation healthy matter that can truly give reform or doe this nation continues to go pell-mell down the big government spending track to the economic train wreck at the end???Where will be the future then??There are many ideas that have been offered-Rebublican/democratic and independant.Ideas that are workable that will reduce spending and does not include a "Big Govenment" takeover of the health system. One such idea comes from Sen richard Burr and Tom Coburn. This plan provides refundable tax credits to help uninsured people purchase privite policies and assist those who already have insurance to pay for the stuff their polices don't cover--that sounds good to me. Soon congress will be back. You have heard America at the TEA parties and at the townhalls---ENOUGH BIG TAXES and BIG GOVERNMENT!! Let's stop this approaching economic train wreck now before it is too late.

There is one principle of proven leadership that sooo many in todays political correct climate just do not "get".That principle is: keep on walking--the howling storms may blow but keep walking strieght"  Sarah Palin is taking those steps. The former Govenor is on rock solid ground as the whole world is watching her next step. Anyone can just sit down and calmy watch this country slip even further into a  canyon of dept, spending, and govenment control but many are standing up!!!!The "news" media just covers what they want to cover but just look behind the scenes and you will see an awakening America rising. The courage comes when people stand up with common sense(thank you Thomas paine/Glenn Beck) get involved and the politicians get an education. It is fitting that Sarah Palin will be speaking at the Ronald Reagan center on August 8. Because it is the solid rock principles we must come back to  still work.I know the whole world will be watching. I know I will be listening.

There is no doupt many questions buzzing around the sirprise decision reciently made by Alaska Gov Sarah Palin. There are many in the media (as expected) that are pouncing on this like a pack of wolves. Well, One thing I know the Alaskan Gov is most cirtainly not afraid of are wolves--both the four legged type and the two legged type. There are many who are dancing in the streets because of this.Many in the political arena are wondering...what is next? To those in that arena I say: Do not count this lady out.!! It is foolish thinking indeed to write someone off very quickly as the "lame" stream media is doing with Sarah Palin. It is equally foolish to underestimate an indavidual who has already proven to have the internal strenth to "take on" challenges and win--do not forget she is a soccer--MOM. Hmmm who was it that had the idea of a missle defense system and the press ridiculed it as "Sar Wars" --and yet it helped bring down the communist Soviet Union??OH Yes! it was Ronald Reagan!The sorry excuse we have for "news" reporting today shoots first and asks the questions later.You tend to eat your words when you do that and I gotta feeling the press will soon be in need of a fork and spoon. This lady is a fighter.What she is doing takes great courage and she has shown more "true grit" than many who are drawing a Gov paycheck doing nothing but following their party line. The conservative principles she believes in are ROCK solid and transend ANY political party. So--what is next? I do not know what steps Gov Palin will take next. I do know that whatever she does all of America will be watching.

The morning of June 10 appeared just like a normal morning at the US Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. Tragically, It would not be the case. A gunman walked in the museum raised his weapon at a security guard and opened fire. Before this was over a security  guard was dead and the crazed gunmen himself was in critical condition by return fire from other security guards. There was, however great courage displayed as museum workers rushed people to saftey. As it turned out the assailent, believed in white supramicy, had a history of denying the holocaust, and maintained an anti-semitic website. This is truly madness. There is a loving God is heaven who has created  all the races on this earth in his image- equal---both male and female. To think that one race is somehow superior to another is nuts.Equally efforts to change what clearly God has clearly designed is also crazy.   So many will look at this tragic event and wonder what the would is coming to. I am,however, choosing to see the heroic efforts of those who are tring to save lives- like the workers who rushed  people to saftey. They deserve to be reconised --and pronto. It could be so easy to see this and to  think negative--this must not be. The madman who did this will answer for his actions-here on earth and before God-who is the rightful judge. What we must do is compassionatly educate those who think wrong AND do all we can to humanly  help such truthful efforts in the right spirit.The US Holocaust museum is a example of doing just that.

O K Al Gore...here is your chance. The oppressive government of N Korea has sentenced two US Jornalists to hard labor. This is just another step the repressive regime has taken to show their cruel colors. It was bad enough that the missles were launched-breaking agreements that were made. It appears that N Korea is telling the whole world "we do not care care-we will do what we want". I am still waiting to hear what Al Gore does and says about all this because the Journalists worked for him. Bill Richardson has been there and may go again in this situation. In a VERY rare statement I must agree with Hillary Clinton on this issue-these are US journalists who are being held and we are united in seeking their release!!!. This is also a big test for the current administration--we will see what happens and what they will do. It is my hope and prayer that these courageous women will hold on and be strong thru this ordeal. I know there is a God of love, truth and strenth who is a mighty tower for those who run to him. No matter what N Korea says--God is with those two-because they are in our prayers.

The California high court upheld the voter approved proposition 8. This measure correctly defines marriage is a  union between a man and a woman. This ruling did not bode well for those who have their own views of  marriage . The people of California voted on this measure-and it passed.We live in a country of "we the people".I know that many will quote from the Bible but there are many who believe the truth of man/woman marriage who are not Bible believers-muslums believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. All we have to do is look a few years earlier to what was almost done to the boy scouts. the conflict went all the way to the supreme court to try to force the boy scouts to sccept this lifestyle that many believe is abnormal.. The hight court sided  truth and the scouts. This whole issue is not about equal rights. It is about freedom, truth and the right to believe. Isn't it funny that very same media is all over the  proposition 8 story when countless babies were snuffed out by abortion---where were their "rights"?? I truly believe that true marriage is man/woman and children are best brought up in a loving household . A house built on such a solid rock shall stand. The real courage comes when people stand up for the truth of what makes true marriage thus true family.

First it was the US Navy teaching these thugs a lesson-now they got another! This past saturday Somali pirates attacked the Italian cruse ship "Melody" with over 1,000 people abord. The pirates were no doupt thinking of what they could get but what they acually got is the story!! After firing on the cruise ship fire was promply returned by Israeli security forces who were on board sending the would be pirites back where they came from. No one should live in fear and no nation should be afraid to do commerce. There will always be those (like in the early 1800s) who seek to exploit and oppress others for their own gains. It is when such evil is confronted  and delt with determined courage... hope is restored. The US Navy did that with the heroic rescue of the merchant captain--now an Israeli security teams courage saved a ship from potential tragedy. Good for them!!

It does not surprise me that the stunning rescue operation that freed merchant captain Richard Phillips happened on the very same day we celebrate another absolute Victory over evil. Just imagine when it was so dark just before the dawn-the powers of darkness tring to tell the angels of the Lord not to roll away the stone. Oh really??Well, the stone WAS rolled away and our Lord AROSE triumphant!!!!optaining eternal redemtion for all of us!. He AROSE!! Halleujah!! Christ AROSE!!Our God is real. He is the God of redemption who sent his Son on his successful rescue mission. The rescue of captain Phillips was a great victory! It is fitting that he was rescued on the very same day we celebrate another stunning VICTORY!!! that happened 2000 years ago.

Little did the people of Jerusalem in the land of Israel know that day when Jesus rode into the city how important that event was! As we celebrate holy week let us truly reflect on that wonderous day when the messiah of Israel was revealed. I am sure his deciples were trying to figure out why then Jesus needed a donkey. He never needed one before. When Jesus rode into Jerusalem that day he fulfilled a very important prophesy: Zechariah 9:9 :  Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey. Hosanna!! was the peoples cry!!It would be les than a week when the crowd would have a far differant cry. Free market capitalism to be exact. With the focus on the word "free". In the early days of the American Revolution the key battle cry was the word "Liberty".As it was back then in many was it is the case we are facing in our country right now.There are those who think big government along with big taxation is the answer to all of our woes. Well, with all of the tea partys tat are happening around our great nation Americans are sending a undeniable message to Washington. We are not buying the big government socialist style junk you are pushing on us. America CAN and WILL recover from this and we will do it with the abilities God has given us in the athmoshere of liberty from "big brother". In the genuis of our constitutional republic we receive the fruits of our own labor because we can choose. We can start our own buisness and work hard as indaviduals. Government under the socialist veiw is doomed to fail because it denies the free enterprise spirit that God has placed inside each and everyone of us. In his famous speech Martin Luther King pointed in the right direction--our nations founding documents. We were indavidually created equal by God to choose indavidually choose prosparity or failure - not having a government make these choices for us. He believed in God Almighty--not an almighty government.We need to get back to our very foundation of our nation. the Biblical principles that our founders built apon. They will work for anyone(or any nation) that puts them into practice. The foundation has not left--let's go back to it.

It is with a heavy heart that I report that "Joesf" my Dads friend,holocaust survivor, and the inspiration for a recient post - has passed away...he was 81. This gentile warrior had successfully resisted the oppression of a socialist government and his amazing true story has inspired many people--including this blogger. My Dad says his friend saw his country (Poland) completlely taken over and the people reduced to nothing more than slave-labor for the state. At one point "Joesf" almost gave up-but he knew he could'nt because the world must know of such evil so it cannot happen again. "Joesf"s story (and many others-like Corrie Ten Boom) will continue to inspire all indaviduals who believe in personal indavidual Liberty and true freedom of " WE THE PEOPLE"!!!!! rest well...soldier.

In 2005 while visiting my Dad in Ohio I had the honor to meet"Joesf" At the age of 17 "Joesf" saw his family dragged away by the Nazis and he himself was sent to the consintration camp of Bergen-Belsen.When he told me his story I practically broke down and cryed because I have read stories of the Holocaust and this was my first-ever-hearing a true story from an acual survivor of that horror. Many still ask:"how can a thing like this happen"?How can a sociaty do such a thing? What can be done to prevent such a thing repeating itself? What happened in Germany did not happen overnight. The idea of building a "master race"  started out small then grew untill the monster of Socialist Nazi Germany exterminated over 6 million. It was not just the Jews--it was the mentaly challenged, the handicapped, and the elderly. Many were "put away" because they were simply"a burden". Now Iwill get to where I am going with this. Just signed into law with this so called "stimulus "bill is the creation of The national coordinator of health information technology.  You guessed it- now a government official will now monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost-effective. Just imagine a government official deciding who gets health care. An elderly loved one who may need an operation to save thir life and a government official saying "no" it not " cost-effective" Or this person is now "a burden" Or we may hear this saying--"they are going to die anyway" Heaven help us that this is happening in America> After Roe vs wade many were asking where it would lead--I guess we are now finding that out.

An understatement of huge proportions. I would of used very different words but I promised myself that all of my posts would be free from overly harsh wording. I always strive to be an optimist in my thinking ,but , in regards to North Koera they are not about to all of a sudden "play nice" because of the statement from Clinton. North Korea-like other terror sponsoring nations have a very real adgenda that they are following and this latest threat to test this Tapodong-2 missle is a part of that adgenda. This missle is 105 feet tall and it is told that it could very well reach the U.S. Just as Iran is the sponsor of the terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah -North Korea is reaching out with it's tenticles as well. It was not long ago when It was discovered that North Korea was suppliing nuclear materials to a base in Syria. I know that I am not the only one who has great concern about this.Sec of state Clinton is now in Japan in her first foreign vist as secretary of state. I  cannot tell you what N Korea will do---let us all hope for the best. I can tell you what I am going to do--stay aleart-be sober-and keep my gun powder dry.

If there was any doupt who are the "bad guys" in the Gaza confict-Hamas has answered this question for us.Showing their true colors...again the terror group hamas has stolen (twice in one week) aid supplies intended for needy Gazans. Armed thugs broke into a UN werehouse stealing vital UN supplies. Because of these actions the UN has stopped shipping aid to the Gaza strip. Israel, however continues to send in food and aid. As it seems the whole world is condemning Israel for defending itself from terror attacks but, there is very little doupt to me who are the real "bad guys" in this. All you have to do is see who are the ones stealing the UN supplies for themselves,thus denying help from those who really need it--like women and children effected by this terrible crisis. Soon Israel will have a new prime minister with the current elections. I hope Benjamin Netanyahu is elected. His strong leadership and moral backbone is what Israel needs at this critical time. I am sure whoever is elected that Israel will continue to help all effected by this crisis-both Jew and Arab..The cease fire may be signed but I am not holding my breath about Hamas..especially after what they are doing now.
