Brrr arctic blasts,record lows, and there is snow in Las Vagas

I bet these truths are very inconvenent to the global warming guru and his following. Bitter artic cold is shattering records all across the United States and snowfall is happening in places that has not seen snow in years---hello Arazona? I wonder if Al Gore shared these facts when he talked about "man made" climate change on the senate floor. At this point I find it very hard to be convinced by this guy who is still flinging around in his privite jet preaching to all of us that we should not use fossil fuels. Is it any wonder that the founder of the weather channel considered sueing "the goricle"because of  this? Even some sences in the movie "an inconvient truth" used styrofoam as "ice". I could no more believe in  this "man made" global warming hoax than I could believe in Santa Claus, the abominable snowman, or the Easter Bunny. What I find truly abominable about this is all the money that is being made on this hoax. Now do not get me wrong-I support other sources of energy like solar and hydro-electric. We need to be energy independant of the oil we are getting overseas- but in the meantime we should not buy into this hype that the global warming gang is peddeling. America must stay strong in our industry and production. I truly believe that we in America can become energy independant-then the whole world will stand back and marvel.

Mr President, George W Bush...Thank You.

As the nation seems fixed on the events of this week I would like to celebrate and be thankful for another reason. Thank you Mr President George W Bush. Shortly after you became president our country was rocked to its core by the terror attacks on 9/11. You took actions to keep our country safe as well taking this fight right to the enimies door. Afganistan was liberated from the Taliban and a brutal dictator Saddam Hussen was ousted. There has not been a magor terror attack on our country on your watch and we are very grateful for that. Mr President you have been cricicised, slammed, and trashed in the media and policians yet you now stand tall. We as free Americans can stand tall with you Mr President because like you-we believe in an America that everyone can make it if they work for it.God bless yo Mr Bush. You are a good man-and you were a gosh-darn good President.

Hamas is responcible for what is happening now in Gaza

"land for peace" was the phrase. "land for peace" was the headline for many a newspaper around the world. Pressured by the US and others Israel pulled out of the Gaza strip. Israel knew what was bound to happen and everyone else who knew the ugly truth about the middle east conflict. The little strip of land in Gaza turned into a  boiling over volcano of venomous hate led by the terror group Hamas. Rockets and the threat of them was a daily fear for Israeli citizens and now  Israel fanilly has  had enough. Just imagine living in Texas and all of a sudden a missle from Mexico obliverates the Alamo?or you live in Cleveland Ohio and then the building you are in gets hit by a missle from canada?? what is happening now in Gaza is on the shoulders of Hamas because of their intentional attacks with rockets agenst Israel. At the root of all this is the hate for all who do not hold to the radical islamic views that Hamas has. Even fellow Muslums are targets (look at the Sunni/Sheiite conflict) Israel is on the frount lines in a fight not only for its citizens right to live on their own land in peace but the whole world to live free. The very forces who want Israel "wiped off the map" want all who disagree with their views to go as well.My heart goes out to all in this terrible conflict and it will be very interesting to see how the new administration handles it.

As this year winds down and we all rush to the stores and houses of loved ones I want to everyone the very best this Christmas season!!!It is so easy to forget the real reason for the season in the mist of all this hustle and bustle but I saw just the other day a small display of the Nativity that told me all I needed to know.This year has been full of hopes as well as dissapointments but, one thing shines forth tat will always be true--one was sent from heaven-born in Bethlehem -the King of kings and Lord of lords to redeem us all from this fallen world-Rejoice!! Emmanuel is born!! God bless all of you and God bless America!!  Amen

Wins in Georgia & Louisiana the Revolution gains steam!!

$90,000 in the freezer? He must of wanted cold cash. The FBI's corruption investigation agenst DEMOCRAT U.S Rep William Jeffersonis not new. This including the $90,000 of alleged bribe payments found in his freezer. What's new is that it seems to have cost him his job in Louisiana- a state that has been dominated by Democrats since 1890. It appears people are voting for "change"!!!In a very historic win the son of war refugees from Veitnam Anh"Joeseph" Cao has unseated Jefferson who has been dogged by corruption  bribary charges and of course the fact that $90,000 was found in his freezer. Cao is anti-abortion but a moderate-he says he is "open" We will see.This historic win-the first Veitnamese-American elected to congress comes at the heels of last years historic win of Bobby Jindal (an Indian American) as the Governor of Louisiana. Who says the Republican party is not diverse??These two guys do not look old and white to me. There is hope! the hope is when the American people get informed and VOTE!! The contest in minnesota is still up in the air--but America is watching!!

Amist the Terror..Heroism and Courage rises

Like many this past Thanksgiving morning I watched in shock the evil Barbaric attack that happened in Mumbai India. Among those killed by this cruel cowardly attack were three Americans. Even as reports of this filter thru the news we read  of true courage arising amist the Terrror. When the Chabad Jewish center was attacked that morning young Moshe Holtberg(2) was whisked away by his nanny Sandra Samuel who had worked at the center for years. Tragically, Moshes parents Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg perished. I am reminded of other heroic acts that have happened in the face of such evil (let's ROLL!! for example) and in these we find the courage to not give in to the terrorists. Young Moshe is in Israel now where I am sure he will be cared for. His maternal grandparents accompanied him.

Is Obama ligit?? Hawaii holds the key

Many questions have been raised about Barack Obama this election year. Questions from associations with known terrorists to anti-American fire breathing dragons in the pulpit.By far the most important issue was he qualified to run for the office of president in the first place. Well, soon we may know the answer. The supreme court will review the case concerning the birth cirtificate of Obama on December 5. (see world net daily -supremes to review case).  If four judges agree to see this in this conference oral arguments could follow soon.This is so important because not only is his election on the line here but this is the U.S constitution we are talking about here. The case was rejected earlier but re-submited to judge Clarence Thomas. Very early this whole matter could of been settled. Where is the hospital in Hawaii he was born in? What about the doctor who delivered him? cirtainly there are records of all the doctors in Hawaii? producing a valid birth cirtificate is not hard. I can get mine within a week. Why hasnt the Obama camp-and more so-why hasn't Hawaii produced the valid cirtificate if it indeed exists? we have a right to know. For the sake of the presidency and our own constitution-we must know!

finding the common ground

Now that the elections are over comes the real hard part--working together with who is in the white house. As much as I am concerned because of the political party in office there is something that I am much more concerned with-the very real threats to our fredoms from those outside our borders. Let us not forget that we have very real enimies who could not care less what political party we belong to. What they care about is putting all of us under their thumbs. Al-quida,Hamas,the socialist regimes of cuba and latin america all pose a great threat to us. I know that there are many ligit beefs that we have as conservatives with those who are of the liberal side of the street, however, with that being said we must work together to better this great nation that we live in to show to those who are on the outside of our borders what CAN be done. The world is watching.

As I write my first post here on townhall I want to say what a privilage it is to blog with such a WONDERFUL bunch of true freedom fighters!! I have read many of your blogs and have commented on many as well. In my comments I used -Michael. I now have my own blog here at townhall and my sign name is Snow Knight.Snow is prue and clean--so much needed in todays world when the so-called news we get from a left-bent media is dirty as sin..
